New Albany, OH

The village of New Albany was laid out in 1837 by Noble Landon and William Yantes. Before the village was incorporated as New Albany in April, 1856 it was called Hope.  New Albany is located in Franklin and Licking County.  Most of the village is located in Franklin County; only a small portion of the village extends into adjacent Licking County.  Founded in 1837, it is now poised to become one of the most affluent communities of Ohio, and certainly within the Columbus area. The New Albany Country Club constitutes a significant portion of the village with it's 27 holes of golf.  Notable residents are Leslie Wexner and Bobby Rahal.
