Westerville, OH

Westerville was founded in 1806 by a family from Connecticut.  In 1838 the town had more than 90 settlers including the Westervelt brothers from whom the town acquired it's name.   Westerville is famous for passing one of the earliest prohibition ordinances in Ohio which was active until only recently.  Now, Westerville is no longer the "Dry Capital of the World".
